How to Customize Your Kids’ K–8 Education with Worksheets & Learning Games

The hands-on activities are a great way to get kids off the computer. Again, you have the option of choosing grade and subject. I took a look at a few options for my son and was delighted to find that I could extract DNA from strawberries. That’s a fun experiment!
Guided Lessons
The guided lessons offer a series of lessons that focus on one specific skill. At the 8th grade level, I saw typing lessons. But I also saw phonics skills for younger children included in the guided lessons before I filtered out all other grades.
One of my favorite things about Education.com is how easily it fits into our daily homeschool rhythm. On days when we need extra math practice, I can quickly pull a worksheet or interactive activity that targets exactly what my child is working on. When writing feels stale, I use creative prompts or grammar worksheets to mix things up.
