I actually do pay my kid to do her work! I came up with the idea when I realized we needed a positive reward to work towards – no negative consequences to avoid. She gets a dollar a day and that includes a daily chore. She loves it! She has learned so much about money and saving up for things she wants. I also tell her all the time when she asks for something, “Well how much school money do you have?” I think I’ve saved money over time!

I’ve definitely decided on homeschooling my kids – and things like this will be so important. I never really thought about the 75% review/25% new, but it really makes total sense.
