I may have mentioned that family game night was one of the best things to come out of lockdown. We gather around the table and play fun games as a family. I love it!

Family Game Night
If you’ve never tried a family game night, you should. Pull out a fun game, pop some popcorn, and challenge each other across the board. You can start simple games before moving up to more challenging games.
And the best part is that you can keep an eye out for educational games. Educational games are games that will teach your kids skills or facts that they need in life.
You can cover language arts, math, or science. Explore economics and geography. And if you’re up for a fabulous game that focuses on the history of the world, you must check out Trekking Through History!
Trekking Through History
Trekking Through History is an amazing game that allows you to go back in time to experience amazing moments throughout human history. You get to see marvels from around the world. Celebrate incredible achievements.
You’ll need to put on your thinking cap. Trekking Through History isn’t a game you can fake your way through. It’s a strategy game that will have both adults and kids thinking about how they can win the game while traveling through time.
Make sure you keep going forward in history so you don’t lose points by jumping back in time!
And as you travel through time, you’ll not only experience remarkable events, but you’ll also meet legendary people as well. But your time is limited. You only have three 12-hour days to explore as much of history as you can before time runs out.
Let me tell you, my kids and I had a blast playing the game. We met Rosa Parks, experienced the First Olympics, and saw the Berlin Wall come down.
History Board Games
Trekking Through History is at the top of my list of amazing history board games for the children and me to play. Not only is it a great game for family game night, but it’s also perfect for those days when the kids and I need a break.
We get to learn fun facts about history, strategize the best way to complete our itinerary, and calculate the number of points we need to win the game.
So if you’re looking for an amazing history board game to play with your kids on family game night, check out the amazing history game Trekking Through History!
